Four runs batted in from Zoe Mendez helped lead SLV Cougars Varsity past Everett Alvarez 11-1 on Thursday. Mendez drove in runs on a home run in the first, a double in the second, and a double in the third.

SLV Cougars Varsity secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the second inning. Jami Van Eyck, Jillian Francis, Mendez, and Alura Neill all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
