Come join us on Sunday, November 13th at 1PM for an informational seminar on the college recruiting process.
Coaches at all levels of college softball are looking for prospects. But competition for scholarships and starting positions on college teams gets tougher every year. Out of the thousands of talented players graduating high school each summer, only about one in fifteen will “make the cut”.
Catharine Aradi is a nationally recognized recruiting consultant and the author of Preparing to Play Softball at the Collegiate Level. She is an active member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and works with athletes and colleges all over the U.S. (Web: fastpitchrecruiting.com)
At her clinics, Ms. Aradi discusses what it takes to succeed in college and how to find the school and the team that are right for you or your player(s) as well where to find scholarships and financial aid.
Parents, coaches and athletes will have the opportunity to learn:
- The “facts of life” about college softball, scholarships and financial aid
- Why competition for available dollars is so tough
- How to take control of your own college search
- What coaches look for in their athletes
- Why academics are such an important part of the recruiting game
- How to make sure your athlete has the competitive edge
This clinic will include an overview of the college search process and a question and answer period. The clinic is open to parents, players, coaches, and anyone interested in playing after high school.
The cost is $15 per person/$30 per family at the door. Please make checks payable to “SLVHS Softball”.
Please pre-register at http://slvsoftball.com/college-bound/cathi-aradi-seminar/ so that we can better setup the facility and notify you if there are any any changes.
