Our players, parents and fans are the greatest. Yesterday’s fundraiser made more then we had hoped. Thank you to every single person who donated time, effort and goods.
We had top notch donations for the raffle – Thank you to everyone who donated, and in particular Mike Holmes for your substantial contributions to the raffle! There was considerable “buzz” in the community surrounding those Giants tickets!
The baked goods were overwhelmingly delicious – a huge success up at the middle school field. You all didn’t just throw things together either – there were some gourmet offerings! Giant brownie cupcakes with ganache for frosting??? WOW!
The rummage sale was quite an experience to share with you all. I am humbled by the effort that went into bringing your items, setting up, advertising, merchandising and staffing the sale. And we are so blessed – we have some seriously good “junk!” Especially humbling was the effort by our extended softball family. Without being asked or having a child in the program you brought baked goods and donated items to support the cause and serves as a reminder that our efforts and actions extend beyond softball. That’s community.
