I’m excited to announce a new winter workout program beginning Monday, November 1st at 6pm. Each Monday and Wednesday this new program will work on developing a better range of motion, functional strength and first step quickness. A certified trainer is helping to develop a top notch program for all athletes.
The first few days will be dedicated to Functional Movement Testing. It’s important not to miss this testing as it will give each athlete valuable insight into their own strengths and weaknesses. This testing is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function and injury prevention. By screening these patterns they’ll be able to develop a training program that strengthens each athletes weakness and improves overall fitness. This is very exciting!
The program is going to work on increasing each athletes range of motion and they’ve developed a strength program that increases core strength using body weight.
I hope that you are able to attend our winter workouts. This is an opportunity to become a better overall athlete. If you are involved with a winter sport, please get permission from your coach before participating.
