Reger was the winning pitcher for SLV. She allowed two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out 12.
Julia Cano took the loss for Aptos. She allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two and walking one.
Hailey Lang led the Cougars with two hits in three at bats. Kristen Miller scored on an Alura Neill triple. Jami Van Eyck’s bunt scored Neill in the bottom of the 3rd inning.
