Four RBI Day For Alura Neill Brings In Win For SLV

Alura Neill wasted no opportunities at the plate on Thursday, driving in four on two hits to lead the Cougars past Harbor 18-1 on Thursday.  Neill drove in runs on a double in the first and a single in the fourth.

SLV secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the first inning.  Zoe Mendez, Kristen Miller, Alona Vinvent, Neill, and Madison Reger each had RBIs in the big inning.

In the first inning, the Cougars got their offense started when Mendez singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Jalie Edgemon was credited with the victory for SLV. She went five innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking zero

The Cougars scattered 17 hits in the game.  Mendez, Katrina Heinemann, Neill, Edgemon, Reger, and Vincent each had multiple hits for SLV. Heinemann and Mendez each collected three hits to lead SLV.
